Mission Statement

The purpose of the  Union Point Down Development Authority of Union Point
(UPDDA) is to develop and promote a healthy and prosperous downtown within the context of cultural and historical preservation. This will be done within the guiding principles of:

  • 1. Quality; 2.Uniqueness; 3.Historic; 4.Visibility; and 5.Railroad themed.

    Vision Statement

    The UPDDA envisions the downtown becoming a tourism destination  by attracting “creative economies” businesses such as restaurants, antique stores, art galleries/studios, boutiques.
